Corrective Exercise

It is common for the human body to develop muscle imbalances. Today, injuries have placed enormous strains on individuals entering the health clubs and can make exercise not as enjoyable or even harmful. As a Corrective Exercise Specialist, VIP health coach has been specifically working with clients suffering from musculoskeletal impairments, imbalances or post-rehabilitation concerns.

The corrective exercise process allows us to pinpoint overactive muscles that create movement dysfunction. The simple assessment method identifies the structures that are the cause of many musculoskeletal injuries and/or biomechanical abnormalities. Once identified, we will be able to create a program to specifically target these muscles and develop your ability to alter any incorrect movement patterns.

Common and easily observed movement dysfunctions  include:

  • Flat feet

  • Feet turning out (duck feet)

  • Knees caving in

These dysfunctions can be apparent from a young age and if left untreated will almost certainly result in injury of some kind during the course of a lifetime.
